Bioballz are made from different grades of material. Some float and some sink. We can supply only the floating type on special request.
Bioballz were designed to provide optimal water flow and maximum surface are for bacterial growth.
Bioballz are great for any freshwater or saltwater fish tank or mini-reef aquarium.
Bioballz can be used in power, canisters, wet-dry, filters or even directly inside a current run in your tank.
Bioballz are 30mm in diameter and there is approximately 42 bioballz per liter.
Simply rinse and use.
Bioballz can be cleaned by removing them from the filter and rinsing them in the same water that they came from. Never remove all the bioballz, leave at least a third of them undisturbed.
