Birmingham Silver Cake Plate with Hinged Handle, hallmarked 1933. The inside of the plate has an engraved inscription "Presented by the Staff to S S Sept 1937 on the occasion of their Silver Wedding". The first S of "S S" has a smaller initial "G" entwined over it and the second S has a smaller initial "E" entwined over it. This is a heavy piece in excellent condition.
Plate dimensions 295mm x 245mm and with the handle raised is 195mm high.
