Research shows: That these BKA's were replicas of late 1890's handguns, that was made by a company in Russia in the 1950's and brought into the USA by MGM studios to be used as movie and stage props.
It is really made well, as can be seen it was used.
It's heavy and so close to the real thing!!
Hammer etc work, but as a movie prop it can not fire. It has some fake gold bullets in it as well.
