Tacca chantrieri Seeds The genus Tacca, which includes the Bat flowers and Arrowroot, consists of ten species of flowering plants in the order Dioscoreales, native to tropical regions of Africa, Australia, and south-eastern Asia. Several species are cultivated as ornamental plants for their bold foliage and large flowers. Tacca chantrieri is another "must have" for any collector of weird and wonderful plants. In Malaysia they call it the Devil's Flower and strange, fascinating stories surround it. Originating, no doubt, from the wicked way the eyes in the bloom seems to be following your every move. Sombre enough to be out of place even at a funeral, these strange and sinister flowers, with their almost grotesque, 28cm long, shoe-lace-like attachments, are quite unlike any other and are going to excite, at the very least, curiosity in all that see it. On offer is a pack of 5 Seeds
