Toss them in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean. Do not add water too full in case the ice square stick together. Place ice square trays levelled in the refrigerator, to avoid overflowing. Wait 1 or 2 minutes to let the ice melt a bit, the ice will be easier to remove. Make sure not to use hard steel brushes or rough aluminium steel wire balls during the cleaning process.
