STRIKING LONG BLACK SPINEL NECKLACE WITH LARGE CITRINE PENDANT IN GOLD-HUED STERLING SILVER SET WITH WITH RASPBERRY RHODOLITE GARNETS. 925 

This eye-catching necklace has a 66cm multifaceted black spinel beaded necklace with a 10.5mm long pendant featuring a magnificent large round faceted citrine bezel set in gold-hued sterling silver. The citrine is beautifully faceted and is a whopping 8,5 carats. It is really big and beautiful at 15 mm diameter. From that dangles a domed cap in dark sterling silver which is segmented in a fascinating royal crown-like design, and in the centre of each segment, a round-cut raspberry rhodolite garnet, claw set in the silver. The decorative cap holds a very long black spinel waterfall fringe. It is almost impossible to capture this piece on camera. In real life it is alive with light and sparkle from top to toe. The colours are particularly dramatic with the large yellow citrine contrasting beautifully with the sparkle of the black spinel. The piece weighs 14.66 grams and bears the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. Quite a dramatic piece!
