NATURAL BLACK PEARL AND RUBY GOLD-HUED STERLING SILVER PENDANT ON A 56CM ROPE CHAIN. 925

This pretty and rather unusual piece features an avant grade design pendant created in gold-hued sterling silver. The pendant design has a floral feel, with a trio of leaves at the top - one providing the loop for the chain to thread through - all studded with small round cut pinkish natural rubies, leading down a 'stalk' from which is suspended a large black baroque pearl. It is quite a large pendant - 43mm long x 15mm wide The colour is a fabulous oil slick deep purple with an inherent rainbow iridescence, and a texture typical of a baroque pearl. Dotted on the 'stem' are bezel set natural rubies interspersed with natural black pearls. The pendant hangs on a long 56cm rope chain also in gold-hued sterling silver. The piece weighs a good heavy 9.12 grams, meaning that it hangs flat and secure. An eye-catching and unusual piece!
