Blackberry Playbook 64GB WiFi-Only

Auction for a Blackberry Playbook 64GB WiFi-Only supplied with original gray silicone protective cover and original charger.

I don't know of there being any issues with the unit; if there is, I haven't encountered them during the past year of using it.

The screen protector, as should be visible in the photos, wasn't properly applied by the previous owner and has a slight gap along the one corner and a scratch clearly visible when the screen isn't on. During use, however, you don't notice the issues with the screen protector.

The unit has been updated to the latest OS version after these photos were taken and still charges fine. A note for anyone new to the Playbook;; the tablet has a strange behaviour when charging it while it's completely 'off' where the screen's backlight will activate and a faint display of straight lines will appear across the screen's width, which may stay there for up to 2 hours after the unit is powered on. This is apparently 'normal' and you can find many people who have asked about this online. The tablet also gets warm to the touch when charging like this while it doesn't get as warm while charging in standby/usage.

To avoid these issues, simply charge the tablet while it's either in standby or is on and doing something. The lines go away eventually and don't impact usage, only appearance.

If you'd like some help with using the tablet I'll be happy to help with whatever I can via e-mail. Its operation is a bit different to Android devices, and while it can run some Android apps, these require 'repackaging' which is a bit of a pain to get done and isn't guaranteed to deliver a fully-working application.

The tablet is supplied freshly 'wiped', and will require the entering of or creation of a Blackberry account.
