This item is a BlackBerry PlayBook 64GB Wi-Fi only mini tablet computer.
Included is the original soft case, wall charger, USB cable, soft cloth, retail box and documentation; all items are in perfect as new condition (except box sleeve has minor creases). This tablet was fitted with a screen protector when new, and two spare screen protectors are included. A PU leather swivel case is also included, and this was fitted to the tablet when new so there are no signs of wear at all on the tablet.
The PlayBook runs the BlackBerry PlayBook OS and also supports Android OS applications, which can be purchased and installed through the BlackBerry App World store.
The PlayBook can be paired with BlackBerry smartphones via BlackBerry Bridge. This allows you to use your smartphone's keyboard, trackpad and touchscreen to remotely control your PlayBook tablet, to browse the web on your tablet using your existing BlackBerry smartphone's connection (if supported by your wireless service provider), and to get access to your email, calendar, contacts, memopad, tasks and BBM – all on the large tablet display.
The PlayBook has been praised for its fluid UI, Adobe Flash supported webkit-based browser, Flash Video support, fast JavaScript and HTML 5.0 Web page rendering, HDMI output, and multitasking capabilities.
The BlackBerry PlayBook supports up to 1080p video playback. PlayBook Features a 3 MP front-facing camera for video chatting over Wi-Fi and a rear-facing 5 MP camera, both of which can record 1080p video. The PlayBook has a 1024×600 WSVGA with an aspect ratio of 16:9 making this device perfectly acceptable for viewing HD video content or other media, 7-inch display and 3D graphics acceleration. It features a variety of sensors, including an InvenSense 6-axis gyroscope, magnetometer, and accelerometer. The BlackBerry PlayBook supports high resolution video playback (H.264, MPEG4, WMV), and audio (MP3, AAC 5.1, WMA 5.1 audio playback) formats. It also has a micro-HDMI port for HDMI video output.
