Acer palmatum atropurpureum 'bloodgood' or Japanese Maple 'bloodgood' is Japanese Maple that has brilliant dark bronze-red leaves in the spring followed by exotic red foliage throughout the summer and a blaze of crimson-orange in the fall. It holds it's colour, never to turn green. Leaves reduce well, making this maple a fantastic bonsai subject or great specimen for landscaping.
