This Blow Off, or Dump valve, is for BMW N20 2.0 Turbo engines that have the electronically controlled bypass valve.This engine can be found in the F10,F20 and F30 chassis badged as 125i,225i, 220i, 228i, 320i, 328i, 520i and 528i.It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred, where the rubber diaphragm splits, which causes a loss of boost pressure.Unfortunately the failure doesn't always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this.Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering significantly improved reliability.Our valve is piston based with no diaphragm to fail, and of all aluminium construction.It replaces the unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve that still also retains the desirable part number ECU control over valve actuation.Application:Fits for BMW 125i N20, BMW 220i N20, BMW 225i N20, BMW 228i N20, BMW 320i N20,BMW 328i N20, BMW 520i N20, BMW 528i N20Colour:blackMaterial:MetalPackage Contents:1 x Blow off valve kitOnly the above package content, other products are not included.Note: Light shooting and different displays may cause the color of the item in the picture a little different from the real thing.
