BLOWFISH FRUIT / Kiwano /  Horned Melon, has the subtle taste of cucumber, banana and lime. It has an oblong shape and often reaches 4 to 6 inches in length. It is golden orange when ripe with white seeds encased in a juicy green pulp and a jellylike texture. Cut off the spikes and the entire fruit -- skin and all -- is edible.
