The Scapular of St Michael originated prior to 1878. Pope Pius IX gave this scapular his blessing, but it was first formally approved under Pope Leo X111.
Wearers of this scapular can receive special graces and blessings :
1. The scapular was meant for all wearers to experience the guardianship and protection of St Michael.

5. Provides the wearer with St Michael's official sponsorship and care against all attacks of the dragon since it is an official enrollment or investiture of the Catholic Church
