Blue Mountain Canada red clay pottery pitcher jug

This listing is for a vintage Blue Mountain red clay pottery pitcher, or ewer, with a lovely high-gloss, deep green blue drip glaze over a black base. It was made in Canada by Blue Mountain Pottery Company.

The ewer has a graceful, curved mid-century style with a long sloping handle. It measures approximately 10 1/2 tall. The piece has an embossed "Triple Tree" mark, an arrangement of 3 triangles with stems and "CANADA" beneath.

This piece is a wonderful example of BMPs blue-green turquoise drip glaze and is a lovely pitcher to display or to use as a vase.

Great condition,does have a couple tiny spots over glazed so done in firing.
