ON AUCTION IS VINTAGE BLUE PHILEON CHESS CLOCK. DESIGNED BY A FIDE CHESS PLAYER IT HAS A SPACE AGE DESIGN AND IS VERY USER FRIENDLY AND SIMPLE TO OPERATE.
 
THE PHILEON CHESS CLOCK WAS DESIGNED BY A DUTCH CHESS PLAYER KAARLO SCHEPEL, THE MAN WHO MANY BELIEVE, ALSO DESIGNED THE LADA CARS (THEY SHARE A SIMILARITY). HE OPTED FOR A TWO-BUTTON DESIGN WITH THREE AUXILIARY BUTTONS AND TWO LCD SCREENS ON A NAVY BLUE BACKGROUND.
 
The Phileon GC8001 game clock and chess clock is a fully equipped digital chess clock with a complete set of features, such as three time controls and a selectable Fisher mode. The chess clock has a sturdy design and is easy to operate. It uses three standard R14 ("C") batteries.
 
The clock is turned on and off via a switch at the bottom, which also serves as the reset button. When the clock is turned on, you'll see the number 1 flashing on the two LCD screens. To select a setting ("mode"), press the CHANGE button until the desired number appears on the screen. Then press the CONFIRM button. Depending on the selected setting, you can start playing immediately.
