Some vehicles use this size emblem on both the hood and the trunk, but some have this size on only one or the other. Please see the notes in the compatibility guide, or look at the chart below, to ensure the emblem will work with your intended use. This is a replacement emblem for the 82mm (3.25 inch) BMW Round emblem. It is the size used for most BMW hood emblems, and many trunk emblems, from the 1970's forward. It comes with a two-pin backing plate, as well as a decal plate that fits into place on the backing plate with a strong pre-placed adhesive. If there is any doubt, please measure your stock emblem before ordering.
