Engine

The BMW K1200LT features a liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder, four-stroke engine with four valves per cylinder, a dual overhead camshaft and a displacement of 1171 cc. It has a five-speed gearbox and a compression ratio of 10.8:1. The engine has a 70.5 mm bore and a 75 mm stroke. The K1200LT utilizes a fuel injection system with an electronic intake pipe injection.
