Iconic vintage BOAC Airline Powder Compact made by Mascot England. Approximately 78 X 78 X 8mm. Navy blue leather on lid, cut out shaped as the Speedbird logo. The puff is marked BOAC with the Speedbird logo and the the compact still has the sifter. Signed Made in Great Britain on mirror rim edge. Inner lid has crown logo for Mascot, a trade name used by manufacturer A.S. Brown & Co Ltd, London England. The firm purchased Kigu in the late 1970s before being taken over themselves by Laughton & Sons, makers of Stratton.
