Bobbin Card Thread Winder

Keep your threads organised with this handy tool for winding threads onto the bobbin cards. 

Easy to Use:

Pull out the peg on the head piece, slide the bobbin card into the slot matching up the holes on the card and the winder, re-insert the peg to keep the card in position.

For long threads (approx 10 to 20m depending on the thickness) measure out across a table, taking care not to lay the threads over each other.

Insert the end of the thread into a slot on the bobbin card and wind by hand.

Use the hand that is holding the bottom of the winder to pinch the thread gently and feed it neatly as the other hand turns the winding mechanism. 

Really easy and quick once you get the hang of it.

For short threads (approx 2-5m), the slots on the leg piece can be fitted over a container, such as an empty coffee tin or other containers (fits firmly over a variety of container types)

Feed the measured off thread you want to wind inside the tin.

Insert the start of the thread into the slot on the card and start winding.  

Keep the thread on track by feeding it through your fingers as you wind.
