Boer Prisoner of War Art. Wooden Trick Shoe with Bone Snake in Boot
This type of POW art is referred to in the book "Boer Ware Memorabilia. The collectors guide" by Pieter Oosthuizen Page 139.
The Boot would of had a slider on the top which when slid open the snake would have popped out. The bone snakes head is also missing and I am not sure if there would have been some sort of spring mechanism to make the snake pop out.
Size is 74 mm Length x 40 mm Height x 25 mm Width
