This 15 Pounder round comes from the battle of Elandslaagte 25 November 1999 and was fired by the British from Graspan station on boer trenches. It is also during the battle of Roodelaagte that the well known Major John Plumbe was killed. The round is placed in a wood box that is marked Anglo Boer War. The round was collected about 300 metres from the site where Major Plumbe died on the farm Roodelaagte.
