Boer War 303 Shell Casings - 'Wagon Hill & Caesar's Camp'
This scarce collection of twenty-five, very early '303' bullet shell casings saved in a plastic container, were, according to the lid, originally found many years ago at a site near Ladysmith where the famous battle of 'Wagon Hill and Caesar's Camp' took place on the 6th of January 1900. The shells aren't cleaned and came in a container with this inscription written on the lid 'WAGON HILL, CAESARS CAMP, 6 JANUARY 1900, LADYSMITH'. The container of shells weighs 317g and measures 11,5cm x 6,5cm.
