A Boer War British Billy Can, with cup (with extending handle) and original leather case. Everything is in absolutely stunning condition!
The leather case bears the inscription: Hobson & Sons, 1902, London."
The billy can is missing its handle (which was originally a simple brass wire hoop), but the fastening loops where the handle attached are still present. Otherwise in superb condition. Can is 16cm tall with a diameter of 11cm.
The cup and extending handle are also in near-mint condition. The handle folds in and the cup forms the lid of the billy can.
The leather case is also in superb condition, with virtually no wear and tear.
