Boer War Cape Government Railways Military Issue Whistle. McPherson Brothers, Glasgow.

A rare 1890's Boer War Thunderer whistle in complete, functional condition. Stamped to the top "The Thunderer Patent" and "McPherson Brothers, -78-, Argyle St. Glasgow". Stamped to the side : "C.F.R." (Cape Government Railways [1874-1910]) with the War Office broad arrow.

Length (excluding loop) : approx. 6cm
