Boer War: Cape Town Restoration of Peace Medal 1900

On 19th June 1900, following the occupation of Pretoria, the City Council of Cape Town decided to present a medal commemorating the restoration of peace. However, the medal was premature as the war only ended 2 years later in 1902.

Please note that the medal still has its original ribbon.
