The centre is decorated with two Union Jacks with crossed flagpoles and the wording 'Entered June 5, 1900", - Queen Victoria's initials 'VR' (Victoria Regina) to the left on the rim, and a floral motif on the right rim. The plate has a scalloped rim edge.
Origin - England. Victorian Era.
Size; The diameter is 255 mm cm and the base rim underneath is 130 mm. It is 2.7 mm high and weighs 615 gms.
The plate is in G to VG condition, with only a little sign of wear evidenced by some fine surface scratches. Although the character of flint pressed glass always contains a few tiny air bubbles inside the glass that are formed during the production process, this plate has very few.
