Boer War Era Saddle inscribed Johan Van Wyk 1899

Raw hide with what looks like buck hair inside this saddle does have considerable age related wear and or damage around it so selling it as a collectable item or for repair. 

Saddles are incredibly expensive so keeping pricing affordable if you want to restore it. There is three J van Wyk listed in the Boer archives through this period. 

I have had a reputable auction company verify that the saddle can date around this period but obviously cannot verify the inscription
