Awarded the Cape of Good Hope General Service Medal with Bechuanaland Clasp ( served in the Langeberg Campaign )
Boer War: Served 1899 to 1902 . Also awarded the QSA with clasps: Mafeking, C.C. and O.F.S. Served in: Marshall's Horse, French's Scouts and Cape Police.
Resided in South Africa after the Boer War.
