Dear G. Many thanks for enclosed letter, as I am short of notepaper I turn this into use. Am glad to hear you are working, there is nothing like it for a growing boy. Besides you know "Satan finds mischief for idle hands to do" so be sure to keep busy. Its a different thing out here in the Railway the fellows say that if you are caught perspiring you get the sack. They haven't caught me doing so yet atleast not with work, this life suits me I think, but you see I always was a lazy fellow, so it doesn't matter. Glad you getting so many stamps if I get any new ones I will send them you. I went for a walk the other day to see the Waterfall on the Crocodile River it is very pretty it is about four Miles from here. Coming back we rode about 3 Miles on a trolley beloning to the Masons working on the line, it did spin along as it is all down hill into Onder. We went as fast asa train a case of hold your hats. When are you going to join the L.R.B I should think you are old enough. Let me know if you would like to & I will stand your sub for the 1st year (This is of course if Pater approves) Now must dry up, Love to all Charlie
