BOER WAR MAP (BLOEMFONTEIN REGION)

A Boer War Map, measuring 87cm X 75cm, in well used condition, as it was used in the field intensively by Lt. Col. Sir Arthur Grant Trollope, 13 Bt. No ordinary Map, this Map has all the names of the areas to the South East of Bloemfontein, for example: Kalver Hok 30, Nooitgedacht 73, Welgevonden 112, Langes Nek 143. as well as the Modder and Caledon Rivers.

Map is very intensive, with hundreds of small districts. Map does have repairs to the back, used in the field and not in some office. We know it was property of Sir Arthur Trollope as we have personal photos of him.
