Apart from South Africa and Britain, they mainly came from France, Germany, Holland, USA, Australia and Canada, and included artefacts made by prisoners-of-was scattered as far and wide as Ceylon, Bermuda and St. Helena."

Front board and spine detached from text block. Laminated pictorial DJ, some creases to lamination. DJ rubbed and faded to spine, previous bookseller's bar code to rear bottom DJ. Text-block edges show slight age-toning, signs of shelf-ear. Internally a fine copy.
