Boer War Pair to Surgeon / Captain G P Parnell

QSA named to Surgeon; KSA named to Captain, S.A.C.

Gervas Peter Parnell was initially attached to the Royal Army Medical Corps (No 8 General Hospital and 3rd Highland Brigade Field Hospital). He subsequently (11 Oct 1901) enlisted in the South African Constabulary, serving in “B” Division, Northern Transvaal. He resigned his commission on 31 July 1902.
