A Boer War "Good For" 2 Shillings Note at the Green Point Prisoner of War Camp Canteen. This was a transit camp for Boer prisoners destined for St Helena, Ceylon or elsewhere.

Fine paper 12.5 x 7.5 cm approximately. Uniface. In crisp uncirculated condition. These notes are quite scarce but were never actually issued for use, so, when found, they are usually in nice condition.

This is the same Green Point as is now the site for CapeTown's new soccer stadium.
