Boer War QSA, KSA & 1906 Medals to 'J.E.H. Davies' (P.A.G)
This early group of three, 'possibly renamed' medals were, awarded to 'John Egbert Hampson Davies' who served with the 'Prince Alfreds Guard' (P.A.G) and later with the 'Natal Rangers'. It consists of the Q.S.A. medal with four clasps 'Cape Colony, O.F.S., Transvaal & S. Africa 1901', the K.S.A. medal with a replaced hanger and the Natal 1906 medal with clasp. The rims read QSA & KSA - 'P.A.G., N362, J.E.H. DAVIES' and the 1906 'NATAL RANGERS, No. 847, J.E.H. DAVIES'. Please refer to rim photographs as the wording is engraved and appear to be renamed (possibly official) and other than the KSA hanger, they're in good condition and nicely tarnished with their original ribbons.
NOTE: There's a WW1 trio that came together with this group, that I've listed separately as the naming is slightly different (J.E. DAVIES)
Please feel free to email me with any queries, and please look closely at the pictures provided as they are of the actual item and form a vital part of the description.
