Boer War QSA Medal *Gunner in Elswick Battery*

Medal is named to: 7248 GNR C.R. SMITH 1ST NTHLD VOL:ART

Confirmed on medal roll as a gunner in the 1st Northumberland Royal Garrison Artillery (Volunteer) Elswick Battery.

Has three clasps: Transvaal, Orange Free State and Transvaal.

Ghost date "1899 1900" also visible on the medal.

There was also a rosette ribbon in the same tin as the QSA.

Not sure if it is related to the QSA, but I have included it in the auction.

Rosette is starting to crumble a little bit.

Copies of research will be included.
