Boer War: Queen Victoria & Three Generals (Victory 1900)

Similar to Laidlaw # 0722 but it is clearly NOT the same medal. Struck in white metal.

In Laidlaw's examples, Lord Roberts are shown at the top of the four frames on the reverse, but in this example, the Queen is shown at the top.

Unrecorded by Laidlaw and supposedly extremely scarce, especially as it still has its original ribbon attached.

Issued prematurely in 1900 as a victory medal whilst the war only ended in 1902.
