Boer War - Rare 'NATAL INFANTRY' Belt with Buckle (Not in 'Owens' Book)
This original, rare, antique leather belt, worn by the 'Natal Infantry' during the Boer War in the late 1800's, comes complete with its interlocking white metal buckle and attachments. I believe this to be a very scarce belt as I can't find a record of it in 'Owens' book or on the internet. The belt is stamped by the makers in three places. 'HOBSON & SONS, 1898, LONDON' in two places on the leather, and 'HOBSON & SONS, LEXINGTON ST. LONDON' on the buckle, and other than some loose stitching behind the buckle, it's in great condition. It measures 93cm in length by 6cm at its widest.
