Very good condition book No date but assumed circa 1910. Hardback. Gilt spine titles. PLEASE NOTE: this is volume 7 of a series and contains the series Index, annotations, bibliographies etc. ONLY. These include a chronological table of events from 1899 to 1909, Regimental casualties with the period of service of each regiment and engagements at which they were present. The official table of casualties with summary, List of medals and clasps. A useful book for the serious Boer War enthusiast. It mentions the logistics in detail. For example : Quote " 24th March 1900, 4th New Zealand Contingent sails for South Africa - Sea Battery, Royal Canadian artillery disembarks at Beira - Barrington leaves Beira for Marandellas. On May 8th Carrington's advance troops reach Bulawayo - Buller commences his advance on Laysmith - Brabant reaches Thaba "Nchu".
