TRENCH ART of BOER -WAR (P.O.W) Camps
Captured Boers that were sent to Prisoner of War Camps in Ceylon (during 1900-1901) , were so.. bored that they made items of what-ever they could Lay there hands on. They did not have machines.. but used there pen-knives and small saws to wittle litle gifts to send Home to there Loved Ones..!!

This Boer and others were amoungst the First Boers captured during the latter (1900-1901). They were held in a despatching camp in Green-point cape Town , then shiped off to CEYLON.
