A Rare Tribute Medal from the City of Norwich. Presented in 1901 to returning volunteers from the county of Norfolk of which Norwich is the county seat. This medal is attributed to Private J.L. Tadman who served with the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Kimberley during the Boer War. References: Hibbard A 19 and Hern 788. Further information at South African Commemorative Medals. The medal is in excellent condition with original ribbon and buckle suspension bar.
