Print depicts Boers skirmishing in the Anglo-Boer war of 1899-1902 and is a French Print from 1900. The figures are meant to be cut out and used as play objects by children. This is an Epinal print and has become proverbial in French referring to an emphatically traditionalist and naïve depiction of something, showing only its good aspects.

The print is shipped in its frame, glass removed, for RSA, or not framed internationally. Also can be collected by arrangement, under glass, in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.
