Boerseep is a traditional South African soap recipe, based on rendered animal fat, usually beef tallow. It has great conditioning properties and is suitable for all types of skin and general cleaning.

So, what is Boerseep? Boerseep is an Afrikaans word which roughly translates into English as farmer's soap. Traditionally, boerseep was made by collecting rainwater, adding lye and tallow and stirring by hand until creamy and the fat and lye have dissolved.
