Vintage Big Wheel Rocking Pram
On offer this fabulous Vintage Big Wheel Rocking Pram, an Impressively Large Pram (see the very last photo for perspective on the size of the pram). It is marked "Bologna, Italy, Trevetatta" on the nappy bag hook on the handle and the wheels marked "Penguin". It pushes like a dream and will lull baby to sleep with it's brilliant suspension. One does not often see these vintage prams with the attractive chrome mud guards as this one has, and they are in really good condition. Overall it is in good nick, the brakes work, the wheels come off by the press of a lever (for easy storage), the bassinet lifts off nicely by unlatching some hooks, and the adjustable back rest works as well. There are a few spots of chrome wear, mostly on the lower bits but the chrome on the mud guards in good condition. There is a small tear on the hood on the inside on one side, in the same area on the opposite side the hood has come slightly loose from the frame. A couple of some other minor blemishes, detailed in the photos below, but these are small blemishes compared to the overall beauty of this beautiful pram. Measurements: 114cm to the top of the hood, 96cm to the top of the handle. about 110cm long, Basonette: 92x38cm and 24cm deep, Wheels: the larger ones have a diameter of 39cm, the smaller ones have a diameter of 29cm. Weight: About 17.5kg. It is navy on the outside and off-white/cream on the inside. These prams are very scarce and highly collectible especially in the good condition this one is in, bid while you still have a chance to own one of these vintage treasures!
