 Genever, born in Holland in the 17th century, is a spirit with more flavour 

A young grain jenever (the literal translation of Jonge Graangenever) from Bols, low in malt wine making it a crisper and cleaner spirit than traditional genevers. It comes in a beautiful Delft Blue ceramic bottle, a traditional Dutch speciality that's often used to package up special genevers.

DO NOT MAKE A GIN AND TONIC WITH GENEVER! You could, but thats not what this drink is meant for. Experiment, because Genever really shines when it is used in creative ways. One spectacular recipe is from  called  Try it in a  and see how the bitter flavours of Campari compliment the complexity of Bols Genever.  Or what better combination than in a with ancient liquors such as Chartreuse?
