Bolviller a Paris mantle clock. 19th century

Signed Bolviller on dial and on mechanism. Dial slightly chipped as per pics. Otherwise excellent condition. Service would be recommended.

Bolviller is recorded in Allix, Charles and Bonnert, Peter carriage clocks, their history and development as working from several addresses in Paris from 1830 -1870. Bolviller are known for being relatively early and inventive makers of fine French carriage clocks.
