BOOK: HIS & HIRSCH'S - Our Delicious Cookbook by Simone & Richard Hirsch

Simone and I have always had a profound love for food, cooking it, but most of all eating it. We can thank both our families for this inherent enjoyment of food. Both sets of parents are lovers of food, and have always delighted in preparing it, which has fostered the interest we both have in the culinary arts. Simone's heritage is Spanish, my father grew up in a hotel, and my mother ran microwave cookery classes in Durban for many years and is the author of many cookbooks.

This book is a selection of our combined favourite recipes, sharing with you the meals we love to serve to our family and friends. It includes contributions by many of those friends and family members. In this cookbook you will find a story of beautiful food which the two of us love. We hope that you will enjoy this book; and enjoy sharing these meals with your friends and family as much as we do with ours.
