The piece is in an GOOD, UNUSED CONDITION- Nutria Nylon Groundsheet/ Shelter is present and detailed with fittings.Item remains in a Good State and has NOT been utilised. Minimal Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Material and waterproof lining is intact and appears in good order. Metallic grommets & Press Studs are evident along all panels. Manufacturer label evident and instructions for usage. Piece has been subject to extended storage- may display variable areas of discoloration due to handling.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1970s SADF Nutria Large Nylon 2-Man Groundsheet/ Shelter w/ fittings. This piece appears to be in a VF state , with Nylon material intact with Waterproof lining.  All retention grommets and press Studs present. Appropriate evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Material appears in good order- water resistant capability may be decreased due to aging of Rubberized lining. It is NOT recommended to utilise this piece for any purposes. Press-studs appear functional- however- it is advisable not to engage as they may be delicate due to age and general handling. 

This piece would have been utilised by SADF members - operating in field conditions, both within the Republic and SWA/Angola for Shelter and associated purposes. 

The ideal addition to any SADF/ SWATF  Border War Era kit collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
