An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SA Navy Unissued Embroidered Driver Qualification Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Embroidery appears complete, with insignia retaining a merrowed edge. Rear support pad  is intact. 

This piece would have been worn by members of the South African Navy , who had successfully passed the Driver's Course - whilst wearing the Working Dress Uniform attire.
