An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF 1 Parachute Battalion Embroidered Tracksuit Unit Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF+  state of preservation, with detailed Embroidered Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Material appears in good order and reinforced panel intact. Piece is ex-Mount , having been previously stitched onto a tracksuit top. 

This piece would have been utilised by a member of 1 Parachute Battalion, during the early 1980s - as part of their issued Tracksuit Unit identification.
