The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Battlejacket is present and detailed with assorted fittings.Item remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Appropriate Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Mesh vest construction is complete, with all associated Pouches and adjustable tabs present. Plastic buckles remain intact and interior padding is present. All velcro straps and tabs are evident. Cordura Material may display surface wear due to general handling.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF Nutria Patt.83  BattleJacket Ammunition Carrier Webbing System. This piece appears to be in a VF state , with all  necessary Ammunition  , Canteen , and Assorted Pouches present. All adjustable tabs, buckles and fittings evident and functional. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Some degree of fading may be visible due to environmental exposure. Velcro fittings are complete and intact. Cordura material will display signs of handling. 

This piece would have been utilised by members of the SADF / SWATF - as the standard issue Webbing System for personnel operating in the Infantry Capacity. All National Servicemen from 1983 would have been equipped , with this Webbing assembly during training and deployment.
